The Neutral Wireless team will be attending the NAB Show 2025 in Las Vegas, from 5-9th April. We’ll be showcasing world-leading wireless connectivity solutions for the broadcast sector, with our ultra-low latency Private 5G networks, and cutting-edge off-piste 5G in the Broadcast Auxiliary Service band.

We encourage all attendees of NAB to stop by the Futures Park area, where we will have a stand (W3952) spotlighting our latest advancements in wide-area connectivity for live camera feeds. We’ll also be presenting two papers at the show on the Tuesday (8th, details below).

It has been an incredible, ambitious, and incredibly ambitious year from Neutral Wireless, and we are heading back to NAB with a lot of stories to tell, and some can’t-miss technological breakthroughs.

Swing by our stand to say hello, or get in touch to arrange a meeting.

Off-piste 5G in the Broadcast Auxiliary Service Band

Tuesday, April 8   |   9:30 AM – 9:50 AM PDT — W220-W221

What if we could combine the high-capacity and low-latencies of Private 5G networks, with the rapid access to spectrum & licences the broadcasters currently enjoy with traditional wireless camera systems, such as COFDM?

Neutral Wireless’ Dr. Sam Yoffe (senior systems engineer) and Malcolm Brew (lead engineer) will present on using software-defined user equipment in non-3GPP spectrum, such as the Broadcast Auxiliary Service (BAS) and Programme-Making and Special Events (PMSE) bands, to support multiple robust camera streams and other IP-based workflows. Marisabel Rodriguez (Google Cloud) will moderate the discussion.

Low Latency Wireless Broadcast Production over 5G

Tuesday, April 8   |   4:10 PM – 4:30 AM PDT — W222-W223

Dr. Sam Yoffe and Dr. Douglas Allan (senior engineer) from Neutral Wireless will present on how the native IP nature of 5G can be leveraged to support full low-latency wireless production workflows. Based on experiences gained from Neutral Wireless’ deployments at elite sporting events across the UK and Europe, our engineers will discuss how 5G connectivity can augment existing wireless systems, facilitate wireless tally, talkback, return video, and camera control systems. Sarah Foss (Audacy) will moderate the discussion.
