This February and March (from the 27th to the 2nd), Neutral Wireless will be at MWC23 in Fira Gran Via, Barcelona.
We’ll be taking along our Lomond Network-In-a-Box (NIB) — a fully portable (or as we like to call it, “truly mobile”) standalone 5G basestation. In the past year, we’ve taken our networks to several different countries across three different continents, facilitating the communication of broadcast-quality live-to-air video footage. Our Lomond NIB comes with an AW2S radio head and an Amarisoft 5G core packaged in a 5U wheeled case. Throw in an antenna and a tripod (if you need one) and you can have your own 5G private network up and running in as little as five minutes.
Our Lomond NIB is flexible and can be tailored for a variety of use cases. It can provide ultra-reliable low-latency communications for critical applications, and can be easily optimised for uplink or downlink-heavy throughput requirements as necessary.
Our networks are capable of carrying any form of IP video traffic, and are tried and tested with encoders such as Haivision, LiveU, Magewell, and Mobile Viewpoint, as well as standardised transport protocols such as NDI and NDI|HX.
If you’re interested in letting us provide you with a private network of your own — whether for broadcast, live events, lab research, or anything else — you can email us at MWC23@neutralwireless.com to arrange a chat at MWC.
Otherwise, come find us! We’ll be working closely with our partners AW2S and Amarisoft in Barcelona, and you should be able to see one of our Lomond NIBs should you pay them a visit.
We’ll see you there!
